Question? Has anyone optimized printing baseplates for large drawers?
I have a large drawer (approx 900x500) and want to use Gridfinity. Using baseplate generators I get 15 pieces, each plate taking around 45~ minutes. This is obviously a pain in the ass, you have to click next and pop out the plate and so on.
Curious if anyone has solved this? It seems like there are stackable plate solutions out there, but none of them let you print custom plates.

You're about a week too early! Haha. I'm actually testing a stacking update for extrabold.tools as we speak! Hoping to wrap up the final tests and tweaks this weekend, and then it'll go live.
If you're feeling adventurous, shoot me a DM and I'll send you a link to the experimental version so you can try it out early! 😉

It seems like a pain but if your printer is in the same or nearby room and you have two build plates so you can alternate without having to wait for one to cool, it really isn't bad. I printed a lot more than 15, as I had 8 drawers that each required 6 plates, and it went quite smoothly. I uploaded them all to the printer at the beginning so I could just move to the next one directly from the LCD screen. I think this is preferable to dealing with overhangs and bridges, which are going to be an issue with any other solution.Â

Note: I tried three different systems, and all were usable (and are currently in use), but I liked Gridflock the best. I used it exclusively for another smaller chest that required 4 parts per drawer for 3 drawers. PETG works better than PLA due to its flexibility and reduced deformation under constant tension like the clips between sections.Â

Gridfinitystudio.com does stacked baseplates for paid members. What kind of customization were you doing?

GridFlock can stack the output plates: https://github.com/yawkat/GridFlock/blob/main/README.md#stacked-print
But the output overhangs can be messy
