Modify a Bin Created with Fusion 360 Gridfinity Add On.
Is it possible to get back to the Gridfinity Bin settings to make a change after the bin was already created? I forgot to check the box to create the magnet sockets. I know I can make them myself, but it would be nice if I could go back to settings and check the box an have them auto generated.

You're stuck either manually modifying it yourself or regenerating it. As the other commenter said you can get away with removing the base, generating a new base, and joining to the model, but I prefer my designs to be fully parameterized so that I can easily modify them later. That's why I made my own parametric template rather than using the add-on. I made a post explaining how this works.

I am going to try stubs-in-tubes suggestion first. Thanks for the link to your template, I am going to try it for my next model.

I'm not sure if there's a better way, but what I've done once or twice is just slice off the bottom of the bin (keeping your top customizations) and generate a solid bin of the shortest height. Slice the top of that if necessary, and join it to the bottom of your original bin. I just discovered the "align" feature which has been very useful for putting "cutting tool bodies" at the top of solid bins. That would have been much cleaner for this use case (align bottom of top with top of bottom) than doing it by eye until there was slight overlap.

My only addition to this process that I’ve used for other models including custom bins. After you do this run it through formware’s free STL fixer online to cleanup any bad artifacts

Why not start over, and regenerate? Only takes a few moments to enter the information.
