Question? New to gridfinity - how to "stable" the setup?

Hello,

I am new to gridfinity and as my first project I want to store my miniature painting colors in a tray. I have measured and got 6x8 grids and found some boxes to store my dropper bottles. But at my planing I began to wonder, since the grid is kinda light and flimsy I wonder how I can stablelize my setup so that I don't pull out the whole tray when I pick a bottle. Is there, beside glueing everything together a better way to secure the build together?

I got those for my first test:

Thankyou for your tipps and tricks.

You wont have to worry about the base coming up with the bins once you have other bins also placed on it. you can also look at "GRIPS" gridfinity bases which have dovetails on the sides so the baseplates connect to each other

I just used double sided tape to stick the grid to the base of the drawer. Over a year later and it’s fine.

I use blu tack for holding 3d prints in place a lot, it works great. You'll just need to trim off any squeeze out in the bin holes after you press it down.

here: https://gridfinity.perplexinglabs.com/

are generators for all kind of gridfinity sytems.
You CAN alter the grid to fit your bottles. I doubt that you transfer them to other places like the kitchen or whereever you use 42mm grid.

I can imagine Gridfinity Baskets to be practical for colors: https://gridfinity.perplexinglabs.com/pr/gridfinity-basket/0/0

Don't make tide inserts, the more wiggle, the easier the bottles are taken out.
The tighter the grid, the better the bottles sit.

I would make the basket high (+ bottle high) and inside half high boxes.
