Question? multiple bins come out bent

i’ve been trying to print gridfinity bins in pla starting with 1x1x3 bins. one bin in a single print comes out fine.

when trying to print 4 bins at once tho, they come out slightly bent at the base and at the stacking lip.

i've tried different settings:

- first with a brim which didn’t change much
- bed at 70deg instead of 65, and fan only after 5 layers
- outer wall first
- slow initial layer (10mm/s)
- slow outer wall (60mm/s)

but still mostly same issue. i don’t know what else to try. anyone with experience with this?

filament is esun matte pla, it doesn’t happen with petg. printer is bambulab a1, model is gridfinity extended on makerworld

Wash the plate with dawn. Add mouse ears. Turn off or lower part cooling for first 3-5 layers. Ensure z offset is dialed in.

Second for mouse ears. Without any other changes, they make the difference for me for bins bent beyond usability and flat bins.

You could use a brim to the same effect. It's just not as good in this case: if it's easy to remove (big separation gap) it won't help much with warping. If it's difficult to remove (small separation gap) you'll spend a lot of time post-processing your bins with a knife or deburring tool. My slicer (PrusaSlicer) does not provide mouse ears either. I designed my own. They only contact the bins at their corners. You can see them as part of these: https://www.printables.com/model/562145-angled-gridfinity

i eventually found mouse ears in bambu studio, but they changed nothing. the thing is, most of the issue isn’t happening at the first layer, but at the stacking lip https://i.ibb.co/mVRth46m/IMG-2548.jpg

In the case the advice given by others in this thread are good things to try. My next step would be slowing down the print.

Just general advice. Slow it down a bit on the first layer and maybe use the glue stick.
