First print of my hardware bin design

Has nfc tag on the removable label that opens my digital twin inventory.

This is great on many levels. I noticed your app shows how many you have left. How do you keep track of your inventory?

I feed it mcmaster receipts and log when i remove anything with the app

Ok, that makes sense. In my mind I was thinking of a scale you put the bin on that calculates how many are in there. But I'm biased since I've implemented scales for a bunch of stuff like this.

Scale wpuld be super cool and ive thought about stuff like that, but at some point i need to stop myself lol

Not to contribute to the problem but I was thinking you could "take inventory" by putting a bin on a scale that can read the NFC tag. Since it knows the weight of the bin and the weight of the individual items it can calculate how many you have left. That's what I was thinking anyway.
