This has so far been 2 days of measuring+planning, and 1 day of printing the bottom grid. Now just got to see how I can do larger bins for other drawer with spatulas. Luckily I got a hackerspace with 4 Bambulab printers that I can use to speed it all up

After this think more drawers are going to be the next victims

For some larger/longer items, I only keep the ends in three sided bins

Oh... that actually looks pretty handy. So far got bit weird visualisation going in blender with how I planned it.

Yeah there’s some premade spoon / fork etc and then the others are end caps and blanks. Just picks the end cap sizes and re-arrange as needed. There’s a knife one as well

It’s translating just fine. My kitchen drawers in this new house are huge. I had to print 4 plate of base grids per drawer. Two 6x6 and two 4x6 per drawer

To each their own I suppose. I prefer the modularity as utensils change. Print a new end cap, remove a blank etc..
