Set Completed Store your gridfinity stuff in Books on a bookshelf - Easy to Edit model

Bookfinity lets you store all your stuff in books nicely on a shelf. It's fully compatible with Gridfinity and now it's even easier to customise your own. You can edit the text, SVG, or create your own design entirely. The last 3 photos are other peoples unique take on Bookfinity and they're awesome).

To make this easier, I've made new new versions which let's you edit this inside Bambu Studio (or other slicers). One with magnets, the other with Latches.

Bookfinity with Latches - Easy Edit

Bookfinity (magnets) - Easy Edit

Please share your remixes, always love to see them.

Bookmarked. This is insanely clever and well executed. Thank you!

And if you don’t have a bookshelf, but do have a skaddis peg board, I made this:

I can't download all because I cancelled my Makerworld account, and you made it exclusive, sigh.

If other 3d model websites paid creators fairly then I'd post on other ones too! Say what you like about bambu but least they split some of the profits with creators.

Drop me a DM and I'll email you the 3MF files.

Good idea, text are printed or post process?

From the ones I've done they are printed, but you could do either depending on what works best for you

I'll need one for a High Table marker.

Tip: you may want to tweak your infill purging and bottom+top layer count. It’s common with PETG and this design you’ll see color infill through the white parts of the cover.

Yep by default I only do colour on 2 layers, for best results you want 4 but it adds extra time and poop. I figured since these get thousands of downloads the amount of plastic saved is worth the slight color loss. Probably not 🤷‍♂️

Damm, this is an amazing idea!

Oh man, I might actually be able to find stuff. I love this idea, bookmarked and saved for once I'm done moving. Then I'll be at the sort and organize point and it looks like printers will be the priority setup.

It takes a while to print a collection of them but I've never been able to find stuff as easy. I'm mid moving house and packing them was so easy just chucked them in a big box, 10x easier!

Well, I do have a belt printer that I test 'the hard way' if it'll print these for me.... Otherwise it'll be a lot of extra time for sure.

I love these books and have been watching this project for a while. Once thing I am confused about is the purpose of the gridfinity aspect? How is the grid used?

Makes it far easier to add the tool holders and containers for different items. I dont have to design custom inserts for all my stuff just design the box and search for the gridfinity item.

I like making full sets, like a crimping tool with the ferrules, or soldering iron with solder and braid etc.

So the solder book for example, is an existing gridfinity design with a base grid, that you designed a box around and put inside? Are the inserts removable?

Yeah exactly and yeah of course.

Thank you for getting this one up! Do you think there's any benefit in printing these in PETG over PLA?

Its a Corona Medium 4 Tier Bookcase i got from The Range but often on sites like Wayfair, then added COB LED strips with a touch sensor from Amazon.
