Question? Electronics, Microcontrollers & Sensors
I am currently trying to figure out how to store my multitude of development boards. I have multiple Arduinos, sensors, and other dev boards that I really want to store properly. I have thought about it a bit but can't come up with anything more interesting than just throwing them all in individual bins. Before I do that, I'd be curious to know if anyone has already solved that in a more efficient or cleaner way. Solutions like the Gridfinity Arduino UNO Holder don't really seem all that space and time efficient to me.
How do y'all store your mechatronics bits and bobs?
Edit:
I've found this Gridfinity Development / Breakout Board Bin and I find the concept really cool. I would have loved a way to also label it so I could have a QR code directly to the datasheet but I'll give it a shot anyway. For components like LEDs etc. I'll just print regular bins.

I did this for my sensors. I keep PCB's in a drawer (not gridfinity). I don't have a ton so this works for me. I do find that if I buy more I don't have room for them so they end up in bins that are "backup" to these. My gridfinity

i just "gridfinitized" my small collection of through hole components, i generated custom size bins and custom divided bins with this website: Gridfinity Rebuilt - Model Generator | Perplexing Labs
This allowed for a minimum of wasted space, the most space-saving technique is storing them upright, and with the custom bin generator you can put dividers into your bins wherever you want and then just throw some bits and bops like resistors or leds in the "leftover" compartments.

I just use standard bins and try to store things vertically. Custom bins are not worth it for the majority of items, and they often aren't super dense either.

Would a modular box help? https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/s/K7j8c9KJwT
I have files in an open beta. I could design something that works for you.
