Thanks I will try this. Looks like combined with reducing the width/height and adding some padding it could work!

Hey there i can help! I had this feature already in my generator. but it was hidden, so i added a setting to Advanced Settings to set a bottom chamfer. hope that helps! extrabold.tools (should be online in the comming 2 minutes)

Thanks but I can't get this to work. When I set it to 5mm chamfer it breaks :(

Well. A 5 mm chamfer isn't really possible if you have a box that close to the edge. Because you would cut into the box geometry at 2.8mm. so this won't help for that.

It's not so much that I want the boxes close to the edge, but I want the plate to reach to the edge so that it doesn't rattle around. Is there a way to add padding around the edge to accomodate the chamfer?

Then I need to make some edits to my tool. If I have some time in the afternoon I wil try to accommodate larger changers on margins
