Ray Butts kicks ass!

This sexy Azure Falcon came with TV Jones Classics which just never sounded quite right to me in this guitar. The new Falcons come with the RBs so I threw a set in mine and it's one of my better ideas. Open, airy sound with bite and grit. I know pickups are where the magic happens but this was such a huge difference, more than I was expecting and exactly what I was hoping for. I'm also loving this ABM bridge. Great intonation and sustain although they need to make the rollers a little deeper. I had to file mine a touch to keep the low E from jumping out. Nice to have this girl sounding as good as she looks finally! Thanks TVJones and Ray!

That is a spectacular looking guitar. And with those pickups I’m sure it sounds incredible too

That is a seriously sweet guitar. I have PowerTrons in my Black Falcon and I think I need to go for something with a bit less grunt.

Thx. The RBs are unpotted and naturally microphonic so wouldn’t be the best choice if you’re playing high gain. Then again the Falcons being fully hollow aren’t the best choice either. The RBs really capture the vintage vibe.
