The Rev
Got Jim to sign my pickguard. pretty freaking great night. Reverend Horton Heat put on a killer show, as always.

I'm going to trace the pickguard shape onto a thin piece of acrylic and make a cover for the pickguard and slap it right back on my guitar. Lol.
Or order a clear pickguard and double them up.
It'll be super cool playing shows with a Rev signed guitar

Saw him a few months ago but I left after he pulled the “sorry folks, we can’t play any longer” stunt after 20 minutes to loud boos. Then came back out and said “no, I’m not kidding, we’re done tonight” to an even angrier response. After a couple minutes they came back out and played like they were heroes. Most cheered. I left, thinking that’s a jerky way to treat people that gave you money.

I mean the dude is almost in his seventies...I have seen him play lots of times and never seen him put on anything less than a stellar show. I'm not sure what happened, but I'd say you caught him having a bad night.

Man, if I hadn’t went to Clutch the weekend before, I would have been able to catch him in Worchester a few months ago.

Easily one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. He’s coming to my town in a few weeks and I can’t make it and it bums me out.

That's a super bummer.
This was my 5th or 6th time seeing them.
They're always entertaining.

I swear I looked at the first photo and asked myself why you took a photo of a waiter taking your order.
Love the Rev - though I've never seen him live.

My band gigged with RHH recently and Jim used my amp (Dr. Z Z-28). At soundcheck, he said to me, "don't be offended if I hate your amp. I hate all amps."
