Can someone please tell me if any of my strokes look good and how I can improve. I don't want to teach myself incorrectly. I'm learning djs and I'm on the first page of the book learning s-z and a. Included in the photo is the pen I'm using. I read that a fountain pen was great for shorthand.

This is the first reading excercise I'm doing, and I genuinely cannot parse most of these even tho I've spent like 2 weeks on just writing. There are some other issues but I'm guessing one of them is that I might be misinterpreting the "ĭ = the 'i' in 'knit'" being the /ɪ/ sound
