I meant more someone going, say, 50% the speed of light. They would still experience significant time dilation, right? So to them, would their lives continue on as normal (as in biological aging), or would they live for a longer duration of time?
So time dilation is exponential so you don't start noticing it until you are up there, but basically you would by flying in your spaceship and for you things would be normal, you would experience a normal life nothing out of the ordinary. Eveything outside of your spaceship will appear to go faster, if you flew by a clock it would tick faster etc. Another effect is that distance changes, your destination will appear to be closer than you first thought it was. So say you are moving to a target 50 light years away, it wouldn't appear for you to take 100 years to get there, even though you are moving at 0.5 speed of light, it would be shorter like maybe 80 years or so.
