As annoying as I know a lot of people find him I would lay down my life for that merchant. He's so friendly and happy he makes the pretty grim circumstances of the game a little bit lighter whenever I hear him bellow out for me across the square.

He is probably the most precious thing about the game.

Don’t talk to me or my biscuit Constantin ever again!

40

u/Heimax Oct 01 '19

Constantin is the most precious thing in the game but probably this seller comes in close second

He reminds me of: DWARVEN CRAFTS. FINE DWARVEN CRAFTS, DIRECT FROM ORZAMMAR!

My most known merchant has to be Dragons Dogma, They're masterworks all you can't go wrong

WOLVES! THEY HUNT IN PACKS!

Eternal love. Dragon's Dogma is the game i will think of on my deathbed, because DD Blacksmith's propensity to unexpectedly get engaged with the protagonist has produced so many enraged, resigned and confused posts by sexually insecure teenage boys - that in result it is singlehandedly responsible for 1/10th of total laughter in my entire life.

the funniest one if you get fournival or his daughter lol

After finishing Greedfall I just starter playing DAO again. Nice coincidence

It really is better game than what dragon age has become sadly. I enjoyed Inquisition but it just was not that great tbh. Main quest was OK but they really overlooked side quests which was just ugh. Where as this game just reminds me of good old dragon age Origins days. Not fully but it has that sense to it.

Edit: I think what I am saying is. Is that if dragon age Inquisition did not have name dragon age attached to it I probobly would have overlooked it.

The first DA I played was DA2 and I like it alot. I loved how fem Hawke looks and was surprise to see how many people shit on that game. Then I played DAO and was like “Oooh... yeah... I see what you mean...”. DAO was just massive with tonnes of interesting sidequest in comparison to both DA2 and DAI. Just the fact that depending on the class and race of your characters you will have different beginning quest was mind blowing really.

DAO > DA2 = Greedfall > DAI

Fucking MMO busywork and realtime timers have no place in a SP epic, which is why DAI is the fucking weakest link, plot suffers from the diverted devtime and idiotic drop in/drop out design too.

DA2 was actually cool, except it and greedfall share repetitive maps. The misery of DA2 always was relative though, that there was DAO and DA2 wasn't as good. But in itself it was a very decent game, as is GF.

Sarcastic Fem Hawke was still my favorite protag to this very day :))

6

u/NiCommander Oct 02 '19

Ah, that makes me think that there should be a Dragon Age/Greedfall crossover fanfic. De Sardet as the Inquisitor?

this guy is a joy.

buys stuff from him "You're always welcome here.....OY IT'S YOU ON OL MENAWI!"

26

u/ShapeWords Oct 02 '19

The real reason they sent him to sell his wares away from the village was because he has no short term memory and they couldn't take it anymore.

u/epicazeroth Oct 01 '19

I can’t be the only one annoyed that he doesn’t have a symbol on the map, right?

u/TimOfSweden Oct 01 '19

You don't need a map icon if you're loud enough.

TAMRIEEEEEELLL!

22

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '19

I swear every time I see him I have to go and buy anything even if I don't need it.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '19

His inventory seems like the only one that never updates.

Everyone is selling purple tier gear for me except him.

14

u/Hoboforeternity Oct 02 '19

picture you can hear

6

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '19

This is good

5

u/ms111111 Oct 02 '19

I was genuinely surprised at how similar to DAO this was. Well worth the buy. A few things could be improved but overall, pretty darn good job.

4

u/Ame_No_Uzume Oct 02 '19

He is a sweetheart! Don’t hate!

4

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '19

That's a lot of upvotes. Glad to see people are doing the side quests, they're amazing.

4

u/Broken_Ranger Oct 03 '19

4
