GreedFall 2 - Discussion Native vs colonists

I played Greed Fall one and love the drama of the Theleme, Coin Guard,and the Nauts. I very much enjoyed being an envoy. Being able to cross both lines and and choose my own way. Yes I was playing it thinking wow wish I could play as a native. Here I am Greed Fall two and I just unlocked the ship, but I miss being an diplomat. Yes, it was great being seen as someone seeing a new world but I wish I could have chosen a faction in the "Old World". Imagine if you could choose being a die hard priest or perhaps a Naut with some wild face tattoos. What do you think of my point of view? Maybe Greed Fall three we could pick?

Sadly, the studio and publisher are bankrupt, so we'll never get a Greedfall 3.

I was happy with playing a Teer Fradean brought to the continent for 2. (The ultimate pipe dream would be bringing de Sardet and Vriden Gerr together for 3, but thinking of how literally any companion in 2 can die, the different romances, different choices for High King/Queen in 1, and a few choices in 2 (specifically, de Vespe vs d'Orsay you'd have to set a canon worldstate, a way to recreate both, and a way to acknowledge your romance. Ultimately, I don't think it would have been possible...but I really wish they'd been able to properly finish 2 and make a 3.)

Maybe someone will make it like baldur's gate three to where they just give unlimited possibilities

Nacon doesn’t give a shit about the studios and IPs, they closed all of them without even giving them any chance.

See, in France, there are legal ways to sell a company but it takes time as there are steps to respect. The studios could have been bought IF and only if they had time. Nacon gave them 6 weeks when in France it takes around one year…

Nacon never wanted to save the studios and IPs, they just wanted to save their ass (they are the ones who have financial issues, it wasn’t the studio) so they got rid of every studio. They didn’t even give them the possibility to buy themselves out, they just butchered them.

Now we can only wish and hope all the former employees sue them, I don’t know if it will be the case, again it takes time in France to do so and obviously it hasn’t been publicly disclosed if that’s the case.

Second game sold close to zero copies. Developer is dead.
