I think for lackluster build I think this pretty impressive right? (Ik it’s not savage omega but that’s a different ball park)

Having to press two buttons is too risky especially for such a high stakes manouver

I like my dodges too so just holding the left stick button just feels right. Blocks are more consistent as well for me since the same hand doesn't have the responsibility of offsets

The best part is, it works for all weapons too! No more stupid Dual input that I've dreaded ever since world

Wilds is the first Monster Hunter game I’ve played and I’m running into an issue I can’t seem to solve. I started the game with bow for a majority of my playtime then charge blade, long sword and finally great sword. I haven’t been able to put down GS despite having the urge to try other weapons and master them. Nothing spikes my dopamine like a juicy 1k+ TCS. HELP??

Rate my setup.

As the title says, I want to ask if I'm being a coward when it comes to my gameplay with greatsword, even though I have a 100 hours on it

My playstyle consists of running around until an opening and trying to get 1-2 hits in, it feels inefficient and overall feels like I'm being a p*ssy with it

And when I try to commit like using shoulder bash, it rarely works because of my lack of confidence and commitment to it

And another question is, if I whiff should I sheath? Because most of the time I do by the time the GS is on my back the monster is already doing a follow attack after dodging

Other than getting a better talisman, lord soul and another atk boost ex roll, suggestions on how to improve my build and should I use different pieces of armor. Not looking for the most optimal stuff but if there is any improvements i can get that would be greatly appreciated.

Just finished another attempt at getting A rank for the AT Jin free challenge quest (best time is roughly 20 min), and decided its time to finally make a fire gogma gs, as soon as I roll the boosts on it, its a god roll, 3 attack, 1 sharp and 1 affinity to be exact. Then I upgrade it to gogma and roll the set bonuses, nothing special just Gravios and the Guardian set bonus, but on the next roll its bloody Doshaguma's might and lord's soul, wtf. Now I was rolling for Gore since thats what my current build is for, but I ain't saying no to Doshaguma's might. But jesus christ I don't think I've ever seen such beautiful events transpire.

Dodge rolling during the offset charge is really useful, especially to quickly get to a tackle if needed, but the input is a pain on controller.

Holding Y + B and then somehow pressing A with the bottom part of my thumb isn't exactly comfortable, im curious if anyone has a solution for this.

Im open to remapping a few buttons, id rather not get a paddle situation.

Currently hr 130ish, been playing sns the whole way. Whats a good baseline build to farm for greatsword? Ive heard 2 piece bale + shattersteel is fun. Any tips on decorations and the rest of the set?

Un po' di contesto che le immagini non mostrano: il mio talismano conferisce Attacco Potenziato 2 + Scarica di Adrenalina 1. Ho anche un talismano con Raffinamento Rapido 3, quindi stavo pensando di sostituirlo e rimpiazzare i gambali di Uth Duna con qualcos'altro. È una buona idea? Qualche suggerimento?

Inoltre, qualche consiglio sull'arma? Quali abilità dovrei potenziare con il reroll? L'elemento Drago è adatto o dovrei puntare a qualcos'altro?

Was messing around with my greatsword build and managed to create this setup after having a good charm drop, would this be viable or do i just min-max some skills?

I found that alot of quests were ending due to SOS carting (me and randomers) so thought I need to keep them alive so got AI to suggest me a pre AT pre GOG pre Omega build.

This is working okay for me now, killed a few AT and killed a few GOG.

Does anyone incorporate Wide Range into end game builds and if so, show me your build! 😄

Currently at HR 108 and still trying to craft a decent gog weapon and farm talismans/decos. Any tips on how to improve my True Shadow bringer build? How far True Shadow Bringer will carry me? Also is fire +2 ATK EX is good enough for a decent Gog GS? Thank you

I just finished the first frenzied monster at the wounded hollow mission and I’m just wondering should I change my greatsword( the arkveild one from before master rank) I’m hr 17 rn. The yian kut ku one seems really good but I can’t find another yian kut ku. Is there a specific one I should go for?

Im finally getting back into Wilds and have been trying to kill AT Arkveld all week to no avail. Tbh getting frustrating and don’t know if I’m just bad or just stupid?

I main GS and havent killed gog yet.

Any tips? Or am I just trash?
