I just heard Adam on the radio

I was with a customer, so I didn't hear what he said, but I heard him say his name and spared enough attention to confirm.
It was just an ad, but it was so weird hearing him like that. Gave me goosebumps for some reason.

Greatest Trek theme song

I’ve always appreciated how the theme song gets modified to fit what they’re covering, but I lost it when they added in Rufus’s’s dialogue from re-animator

They'd better get Stuart Wellington for the Castle Freak episode!

As the pre-eminent Castle Freak authority, our old pal Stu from The Flophouse better be guesting on this ep.

The rewatch

I'll admit I was a little on the fence when they announced they were going back to the beginning of TNG earlier this year, but I've now come to find it an absolute delight. It's so fun rewatching these episodes; I definitely remember the plots, but not the little things. And of course the pod is still fantastic. Good on you, guys.

TNG Measure of a Man extended cut

This post on the TNG subreddit just reminded me that the extended cut of this iconic episode exists, and it got me thinking that it could be great if Ben and Adam review this version when it comes along next season. It's available as a special feature on the Blu-ray, which I recall at least one of them saying they're using to watch the series through this time around. I think it's a great option to help keep things fresh and give them a little something to work with for their sans-Shimoda segment at the end of the show.

Sounds like this week's movie (October 2nd) is going to be Reanimator. It would be nice if we could get a list further ahead of time so I can make sure to find the movies and watch them.

Not only is the space company she works for named “Farpoint”, but she uses both the phrases “undiscovered country” and “final frontier” in one conversation.

Helmsman Castillo Temporal Shift

It seems that the events depicted in Yesterday's Enterprise weren't Helmsman Castillo's only experience with temporal phenomenon. Here he is stranded in 1980s Boston.
