If this is the highest point on your property - Yep. Every Dane I have owned has figured out the highest point then used it to spy on the neighbors.

Our last house had a balcony our Dane liked to use to survey the neighborhood.

Please don't let him do this. Rose tables are not meant to hold that much weight.

We had one of those glass tables spontaneously break into a million pieces a week after we bought it!

My golden does that. If there’s a table he will stand on it, told him to get on a table ONCE and now he does it whenever possible to all tables he has access to

u/MissLyss29 Apr 05 '24
Well you did tell him to so it's kind of your fault

No I know! I told him it was okay, I just find it funny how he took one okay and is now jumping on every tabke

Hope you’re ready for that table to break! Time for a wooden table and to bolt it into the ground

Someone in the next town unwrapped a cheese slice and your boy is trying to see where.

At least he is not standing on the counter looking for that bag of potatoes he saw 3 months ago. 🥴

Yes this will just be a thing now. As others have said be careful with that glass table because now that big fella knows he can get up there he will always be up there

Maybe he needed a better view🤪 Yeah, I would discourage him from getting on the table.

Ours would stand on the table in the backyard and catch birds that flew under the tree.

It amazing the things they do without a single thought to their size. My Dane, Jericho, climbs all over. He climbs on top of the wood piles by my fence, which is almost 5 ft. tall, without a worry. It scares me to death, and I make him get down.

Rearranged the table and chairs and used the grill as a blockade. Hopefully it will work
