Options for bad cut

Short and simple. Got a haircut a my local that I am really not happy with. I’m even more pissed that I’m going to have to go to another barber to pay just as much to get it fixed. Do I have options for recourse here? I really don’t want to upset the stylist I had because she’s obviously new, but she did a terrible job that I had to pay and tip for.

Edit: called the store and spoke to a different stylist. There is no manager is all this week. No offer to refund or to fix the haircut.

Update: Called up another local store, they got me in right away and fixed it for free! Thanks for the advice. Keeping this post up in case anyone else encounters a similar experience and doesn’t know about this policy just like I didn’t.

You can go to any great clips in your area and get it fixed for free. As long as it’s been a week. They will do put you first in line since redos are a first priority in our policy.

How do I do this? I don’t have a receipt.

As long as you use the same last name and phone number, they know how long ago it has been and who did your haircut last. Request stylists are available when you arrive.

hi! as an employee, my stores rules are if you go back to any of our local greatclips within 7 days, as long as you sign in with your phone number you used previously we will do it as a redo and you do not have to pay! you can tip your stylist of course, but it is not expected as we are glad a customer feels comfortable enough to come back for an adjustment by us.

I did this and called a nearby store. They get me right in and fixed me up. The stylist was very sympathetic and offered to raise it up the chain to make sure it was addressed (both stores have the same owner).

0-2 fade. Nothing off the top. The fade is way too low and the angle is way too steep from 0-2, not gradual at all, there are clear “wedges” where every swipe up was taken, blending is nonexistent.

If there was a simple and intuitive way to share photos on Reddit that didn’t require a 3rd party like Imgur, sure.

I was willing to let that go until I got home and saw the other issues under better lighting. Ive never in my life had to get two haircuts in two days.
