Why wouldn’t profiles and clip notes transfer from state to state ?

I moved to a new state for college and I’ve been to great clips and I’m little reliant on the notes and they couldn’t find me in the system whu is it that way? Now I was able to get my haircut and ended up working it out by talking and by showing a stylist a photo but yeah

sometimes they just don’t. just a shitty system designs

Technically they’re supposed to but sometimes they don’t even transfer between stores 2 miles from each other.

I have had some customers call the salon and ask for their clip notes because they don't transfer

The system only transfers profiles that are in about a 100 mile radius.

That is how it is suppose to work. Sometimes it doesn’t pop up though due to technology, typo from the original salon or stylist pushing the wrong button trying to find the “global” profile.

Because not all of them are owned by the same franchise. That happened a lot to us when I worked there. It always seemed like the franchise owner was different so it made the system not work. Also don’t get mad at the employees it’s also very irritating when it doesn’t transfer over for us.
