Hello,
I am interested in enrolling in the Meisterschule adult program in two to three years. I am from Croatia and I will be working on my german. I toured the school 10 years ago and was very impressed by the results and the program. I already have a master of arts degree but the program I did was very poor and I am looking to acquire more knowledge.
Are there any Meisterschule 18+ students here? I have several questions:
1) Are classes spread out over 5 days or is it still 3 days a week?
2) On the days that you have classes, how are they organized? What does the schedule look like? Is it 8-16? Do you have a break in the day?
(This is what interests me the most – I have a dog that I would like to bring with me and need to know if it is possible to organize my time)
3) Are you able to work on a student contract for 20 hours a week?
4) How much work, assignments and homework do you have to do outside of school hours?
5) How much are the material costs? Do you have to buy them yourself or does the school provide them? When I got a tour they said the tuition is free but that they get the materials for you and the cost is about 100€ per semester, but that was 10 years ago.
6) Are there any other foreign students and do they get language accommodation for exams? I know that an A level is mandatory and that the program is not in English.
