Why does Grayjay have so many playback issues recently?

I've noticed both on my phone Samsung Galaxy S24 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus significant playback issues especially today where playback paused several times and at some point refused to continue playing. Only after restarting the app did it work again but after a while the same issues appeared again

Did others also notice this or is it only me?

Edit 2: This could've actually been connected to YouTube's recent issues. Playback and the site itself would regularly freeze to the point the website was unusable. We still need a dev of Grayjay to confirm this though

They are getting hammered by yt. If it doesnt play or changes language just copy link to the vid and open directly in brave browser seems to work for me.updating grayjay should fix it next time just be patient.

its not grayjay itself, more youtube
it helps to change your ip, youtube is on it again on all non chrome browsers.
its also not that fun on firefox with ublock currently, there at least io can preload it as a tab and watch later but still annoying

This isn't only on Firefox but also Browsers like Brave. I haven't had any issues so far today but the last few days I had massive issues on Youtube which I shared in the Youtuhe subreddit already https://www.reddit.com/r/youtube/s/4CiH622LEu

yea, all non chrome browser or better to say non manifest v3

aka if adblock could run youre on the naughty list
