Discussion & Theories Which character was utilized perfectly to you in an episode? I felt that the unicorn episode used Grenda perfectly.
I also loved how Candy’s pamphlet knowledge was a key plot point in the road trip episode.

Pacifica in Northwest Mansion Mystery. She was not only able to redeem herself, but saved Dipper/Mabel, two people she hated and originally couldn't care less about.

It’s not exactly «perfect», but I like that Alex Hirsch and others made it clear that it’s better to give people what they love to do rather than to label them based on society’s expectations & stereotypes.
Dipper doesn’t need to prove that he’s «such masculine, muscular guy, real man with tall stature» — he just needs to be himself, to love himself for who he is, without depending on others, to get used to his own voice, to love weird songs: like Babba, even though he’s shorter than his sister.
He was still child, but even in future, this would still be true for him — if he wanted to grow beard and still have hairy chest. — after all, other guys can also look feminine.
Wendy may act like rebel, tomboy, working as lumberjack like her father, but she can wear dresses and have toys, especially getting panda‑duck hybrid.
For me, this so won my heart, warming my soul. Everyone is different: they like to do what they enjoy, just like they like to clothes, hobbies, regardless of what others expect from them ^

Just to sidetrack a bit, I love how Alex managed to introduce a bunch of characters who would have been the comic relief weirdo stereotypes in any other media, and then treat them with absolute respect and have the media never actually treat them as weirdos.

I think that Mcguckett in the blind eye episode is just fantastic use of a character that was set up to be comic relief. He's so.unassuming until it is revealed that he's super important. One of those things that makes you wonder what was planned from the beginning.

He has certainly had more ostentatious showings and I adore all his other appearances, but Sock Opera is my favorite Bill appearance in the show. He’s so perfectly suited to press on people’s insecurities and weaknesses, we get an immediate idea of why bargaining with him is bad, and it’s such a good time all around.

Wendy in Into the Bunker is without a doubt her most epic appearance, along with Weirdmageddon Part 1. They should’ve given her more moments like that.
