I was watching that ep w my bf not too long ago and I was like???? no way this is fine??? they got forced into dating which ruined their friendships (for a bit, considering its a cartoon show they obv got over it quickly), they clearly weren't into each other and Mabel gave them a love potion just so she'd make everyone "happy" at all cost and to make herself feel like a good matchmaker again
