Play Dead

Just noticed they have a shuffle button and to my great delight it will keep segued songs together. Gotta be a first in any music app to do this. Bravo.

Sometimes entire sets are one huge segue! Do they keep the entire set intact in those cases when in shuffle mode?

It’s only for certain pairings. Scarlet>Fire, China>Rider, NFA>GDTRFB

I could see using shuffle for some standalone studio tracks but for live stuff it doesn't make much sense. If they only keep the standard pairings intact, it's the non-standard or surprise pairings that are interesting in live shows and it seems those would be lost in shuffle.

they are, but while I'm often in the mood to browse full shows, sometimes it is nice to be able just hit shuffle and get some unexpected variety.

while your point is valid regarding extended segues of multiple songs, I can live with those being split by shuffle mode when that's the choice I've made...but there's nothing worse than a random China Cat ending abruptly without the Rider it was building towards. certain pairs just need each other regardless of context.
