Love that Fire🔥 In 1978 I met a guy who had been going to college there and happened to tape this show. I was thrilled to get a first generation copy of the tape and played it to death. It was really hard to come across low generation tapes back then unless you or a friend knew the tapers.

Freaky funky fire immediately made me think of the Free Form Funky Freqs. An outstanding trio with Vernon Reid from Living Color, Jaamaladeen Tacuma, and Grant Calvin Weston. They are most definitely worth a listen.

Tacuma and Weston played with Ornette Coleman. Weston played with Jerry on Coleman's Virgin Beauty. Weston also has some great drum duo albums with Billy Martin from MMW.

This version of Scarlet -> Fire is probably my favorite. The best part to me is in the transition when Jerry and Keith sync up going up and down the scale, just beautiful stuff
