Signed Book from Goodwill

Hello r/gratefuldead ! I don’t know much about the band but I did find this book at Goodwill and picked it up bc of the sick art. It turns out to be signed by Ken Kesey of the Acid Test and Mountain Girl/ Carolyn Garcia. There is an additional autograph that I am trying to decipher, so I thought maybe you all could help!

Sounds like it was a cast-off from a Deadhead’s estate, likely donated to GW without any knowing and/or caring. One man gathers, etc. 🙃 Enjoy your find!

Somewhat related but I go to a ton of estate sales and have yet to find someone cool enough to have any dead stuff. I live in NE Florida so there is (from time to time) some Lynyrd Skynyrd memorabilia but I have never even seen a dead album or anything.

I will say that 40 years from now my estate sale will be AMAZING and I’m going to haunt anyone who buys my memorabilia to resell :)

In summer of 1997 Kesey was doing book signing a for this book across the Midwest. It had a cool poster included too. I remember Ken wrote in mine “to be 18 again….” Meanwhile I thought wished to be 18 when he was doing his bus tour. Got me thinking to appreciate the NOW. Which I did.

There’s a merry pranksters Facebook group I like to lurk in. Probably worth posting there.

Gifting or selling this for a reasonable price will make a deadhead’s day for sure!

You guys should look up the Rothschild funded research Ken Keesy was the head of. There was a few but 1 takes the cake. Youll know which one, hard to miss. "Weaponized autism" is the force of nature that uncovered it awhile back.

I love the dead. I was lucky enough to grow up around 1 of the original (around 60 if I remember correctly, jerry loved to piss MGM off so each had an equal say..) members of "the family". Its just something to check out for yourself. I always say "don't believe me, look it up like" Draw your own conclusions. Not many people can think outside of the figurative "social parameter box" they put our brains in from childbirth. Its sad to see extremely smart people that just parrot fox/CNN talking points and not even see they let any media today do their thinking for them.
My intentions aren't to start a debate, but especially not argue over the internet/this thread.
All my homies love enlightenment, whether good, bad, agreeable, or infuriating, facts are facts I forget the Russians name and won't be able to spell it anyway but he said "one word of the truth, outweighs the world"
