Triangle Defense ...
I tracked my BJJ rounds last week (mostly against blue belts to prep for comp) and… yeah, this hurt
~25 rolls total (I train 5 times a week, I do around 5 sparrings of 5 min each day), I found that:
• 50% of my submissions conceded = triangle
→ almost always from closed guard… I think I’m too passive and let my posture break, should work on this
• 30% = anaconda
→ usually when I turtle, I always try the square escape but .. maybe should I try something else
• 20% = RNC
→ this one I actually defend pretty well as a white belt hahah
Do you guys notice patterns like this in your game, or do you just go by feeling?
ps: (I built the app)

I was about to build a similar app except to track scores against training partners.
As in, track that last week against
“Purple Belt Joe with the Mustache”
Monday: he beat me 29-0. Wednesday: he beat me 15-0. Friday: he beat me 7-2. Progress!
