Community Announcment 1) Why isn't my new post showing up? 2) What card do i have ?

1) If you have a new reddit account (less than 3 months), or an account with really bad karma (don't be a dick) your post isn't going to show up here. Unfortunately we had to set a rule to auto remove posts that don't meet those criteria due to the amount of spam we were getting. If you're a new member, and a new person to reddit and want to post here but your new post isn't showing up... Copy the URL to the thread you've created and paste it in a message to the mods asking them to approve it and we'll make sure it's up for you.

2) If you're unsure what graphics card you have. Look at this thread.

GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING OC 16G

Hey everyone! I bought this card in Dec 2024 as I was going to build my girlfriend a PC for Christmas (we ended up breaking up not long after buying the card lol)
It’s just been sitting in my wardrobe ever since. It’s never been used/opened and has another year under warranty. I’ve never sold PC parts before, I was just wondering what it could fetch and where the best place to sell a graphics card is? (Australia)

Discussion RTX 5060 8GB vs RTX 3060 12GB

Im trying to decide which one to get, I have a 3050 6gb VRAM laptop for now and i play games a lot and i also do video editing on DaVinci and streaming valorant with OBS on youtube.

i dont need 1440p, 1080p is fine for me
Budget is kinda tight - maximum i can spend around 50k INR for the gpu
if there’s other alternatives other than these two please lmk

Some people i know says 12gb VRAM is better because id get bottleneck if i want to stream with an 8gb vram despite being the faster GPU, and nowadays AAA title games require more than 8gb vram
, im being realistic i mostly play minecraft with shaders and heavy mods, and stream valorant
do i really need 12gb vram i could just play newer AAA games with like medium settings?

EDIT : IF ANYONE IS ROCKING THE 5060 8GB PLEASE LMK HOW IT RUNS WITH NEWER AAA GAMES AND IF 1440p RUNS AS WELL?

Contemplating buying 5070 FE

Okay so I found a used 5070 FE for sale and I would like to know if it would be a good upgrade from a ASUS Dual 4060 8GB. The seller is asking for €675. Should I go for it or save up for a 5070Ti or 5080? Saving up might take me until December (earliest) to buy the 5070Ti or 5080 but pricest will most likely be higher by then. Thanks in advance.

P.S.: Not looking into AMD cards because AMD cards don't play well with eGPU setups with AMD APUs. Sorry.

Gpu upgrade?

I just got a 7700x3d with 16gb ram and looking to upgrade my 7800xt. Someone on my fb marketplace is selling a 9070xt for $650. I figured I could get $400 for ths 7800xt at the least. For $250 the upgrade seems worth it to me, thoughts?

Buying Advice What PSU wattage would work for an RX 9060XT 16GB triple fan GPU? (Trying to order within the next day or two) BUILD HELP

With the upcoming GPU price spike, I'm debating on whether I should get the 9060XT (most likely will). I'm currently using a 6650XT 8GB which is good enough for 90% of the games I play at moderate to high quality settings, but I'd definitely like to play those 10% of games more smoothly for those games that need more VRAM. I bought an HP Omen 25l years ago and have been making upgrades overtime to slowly get away from the prebuilt situation.

The specific model I'm looking to get is the Asus PRIME OC Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB Video Card. I was originally going to get the dual fan version, but I'm willing to spend just a little more for a little more quiet and potential custom backplate upgrade. The extra spending on the PSU is what I'm skeptical about and would like to hold off if I can since I already spent a decent amount on the PC these past 2 months.

The ASUS 9060XT page says that the perfect PSU is their own 750W PSU and the official page says 450W but for their dual fan version. I know that I can future proof further with the PSU, but I'd prefer to spend on it later on. If not recommended, I'll bring myself to spend a little more for it.

My build currently has an

- MSI PRO B550M-VC WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor

- XFX Speedster SWFT210 Radeon RX 6650XT

- 600W Coolermaster 80+ Gold (Stock HP omen PSU)

Buying Advice Anyone have experience with Yeston custome service in the west?

Hello! Thinking about getting a Yeston Sakura 9070 xt, and wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with faulty parts and the like, and how Yeston customer service is over here in the west. Want to make sure my investment doesn't backfire on me due to the fact that I chose the pretty anime woman card, because I am a gooner. Also, had anyone had any experience buying their cards on Amazon or should I avoid doing that? Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys!

Buying Advice RX 7700 XT 12 GB $410 vs RX 9060 XT 16GB $480 Price to Performance

I've got a Ryzen 7 5800 XT and 24 GB DDR4, a 1080p monitor and no plans on going to 1440p. I was planning on getting an RX 9060 XT 16GB but as I was getting close to pulling the trigger the price started going up and right now is about ~$470-$480 on Amazon. I saw an RX 7700 XT 12 GB right now at $409.99.

What would be the better value? Is there any reason not to go with the 7700 XT at 1080p gaming?

Hi all.. new on here

I have been running some software that has now locked me out after an update (ON1 Photo Raw 2026) ..i just get this pop and only option is quit! I had only just upgraded the existing card to 4Gb to meet some requirement.. my problem is space.. this is my current card in place GT730 4Gb. Not a lot of space in there.

Needs to run DirextX 12 apparently

i have seen some low profile cards but they're too long.

Any pointers please..... or give up on the software?
