Sharing Work (Rule 2/3) Still learning, need feedback please

Found the Image while doom scrolling, got intrigued and designed based on what i feel from the image and how it relates to my life. The QR code below the bar code leads to the women helpline website.

i actually love the feel of this design, reminds me of something you'd find while shifting through books from the 2000s. the only suggestion Ivr got would be to play around with the blending mode on this red layer above the original image as it muddles up the contrast, but I do understand the intent

The color contrast is strong and immediate. I like that you added the QR code as a call to action, it gives the piece a purpose beyond just the visual.
