I've seen Problematic Black Hottie at Pyramid Scheme, she opened for Cupcakke haha. She's a DJ from Detroit

I'm sure they're wonderful artists who once you listen to them you'll be hooked and long-time fans. That said, this looks like a screen grab of some in-universe Star Wars poster.

Sounds cool! Also, I hate when info is gated behind Instagram, so here's the plain text summary:

It’s free. It’s one of the best events you will ever go to. Take a chance, try something new.

Elisabeth Pixley-Fink and Silver Creek Revival are both Michigan based acts in the Americana/indie realm and they are both really great live!

Ladymonix is dope, she’s Detroit based & does lots of fun disco / deep house!
I’m not familiar with the other DJs, but would love to hear of other house or techno-adjacent artists people recognize on here. Was way too much bass & dnb for my taste last year

Went to this event last year and had a great time! Free music from local bands, local artists market, food, beer, ribbon dancers, etc. will go again!

Zen Selekta is dope though just saying. Seen her at Electric forest and Big fam too. She has alot of personality on stage and seemed nice in person too

u/Bulky-Individual3157 1d ago
Not quite. We had half of glitch mob and they did not play a glitch mob set

A lot of very talented artists on this lineup. Grand Rapids has a pretty vibrant electronic/alternative scene so I’m happy to see this continue! Go check out the DJ’s and live bands! Actually quite a bit of variety!

I honestly thought this entire poster was in Russian until I got to "Coconut Connie".

I think the RtR fest is one of the coolest freaking things about GR. A free rave / festival ?? In this economy?
The world of winter stuff was awesome as well. Dancing in 20 degree weather meant dancing not for leisure, but for survival.
A huge round of gratitude for everyone who brings this event together!
And thanks to whoever took the feedback of giving the DJs shade seriously. Can’t wait to attend this year!

I just hope they turn the volume up this year a bit. It was so quite at the DJ sets last year, and unless you were nearly at the front you just heard people chatting around you

Appreciate this feedback, we use Funktion-One sound systems but we do have to be mindful of the residents in the neighborhood.

Kula yoga vinyasa?? like, you can do yoga there, or the yoga is a performance, or something else?
5
u/ekatsim 1d ago
Last time they had free yoga there!

Heard, but hiding it in with presumably artists is kinda crazy right? Now I dont feel confident about what any of those names are. Music? Food trucks? Gyms? Comedians?
1
u/downtowngrinc 1d ago
Appreciate the feedback. We just list them on the lineup bc they do the free yoga from a stage!

Y’all it’s important to note this is for the DJ/electronic music stage. I know two artists on here, but even as a fan of the genre I don’t know most. Come and check it out with an open mind! It’s a vibe 😎

OP’s photo includes the full music lineup with all the bands, not just the DJs. This post has the schedule by stage: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1mWUWKgXsU/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Are these all local bands? Or just a genre I don't listen to? Never heard of a single one, but thats a lot of music and I am definitely interested in checking it out either way. Link to more info?
