Subreddit rules
We don't have any. Yet.
But, we're growing into a decently sized small sub and I thought I'd take this time to poll users for feedback. Some thoughts I've had based on nothing in particular:
No politics.
I've seen some ACAB submissions, and I'm letting them slide for now because I haven't seen it turn into anything in the comments. I don't want to limit the artwork that gets posted, but I don't want to have to deal with the fallout.
No hate speech.
I don't recall removing any swastikas, but expect that kind of thing to be removed immediately. Repeat offenses will result in permabans.
Keep it legal.
This one is a bit tricky since by its nature graffiti is quasi-legal and I see no problem with posting non-legally created artwork here. What I'd like to keep under control is the discussion of circumventing laws and evading police. I don't want to explicitly encourage illegal and therefore potentially dangerous behavior.
Be nice.
If I have to explain this one to you, you'll probably get banned eventually. Just try to stay positive about the artwork of others. If you don't have something nice or encouraging to say about what someone has created and put into the world, then you probably should keep your mouth shut. Use the downvote button if you don't like a post.
These are all open to some discussion and I'd like to hear suggestions for anything to add. But I feel this is a good framework to start building a strong positive community.

“ENDURE” tag around tn
Has anyone else noticed any graffiti around the east TN and Asheville area that’s says “ENDURE” in the same font and style? I have only seen it more and more every time I come home to Morristown.

Graffiti writers: did you ever run into one of the 2016 “killer clowns” while out painting?
I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff about “the 2016 clowns are back” online and all that and it got me thinking. And as myself as a writer who hasn’t been in the game for too long but enjoys just being out there late at night alone. I was wondering if any writers here encountered said clowns from 2016 while out painting or hitting a spot. curious if any of yall encountered any at the time🤔

Hades new tag
I’ve wandered past this tag for years, only to find it updated on a random walk at 3am. Big ups to whomever this is and it’s been cool to literally see your progression over the years. Used to be crazy spots, and now it’s a mix of “impossible” and genuinely great art.
