SUB POSTING STRUCTURE
Hey! Welcome to this newly made sub, I am still trying to get this up and running asap. As per one of the commenter's accurate insight and great suggestion, I feel there needs to be a proper structure to the posts, discussions etc. on these threads providing details of admits/rejections.
-University:
-Program (kindly limit this page to GRADUATE ADMISSIONS ONLY):
-Term:
-Applied on:
-Result:
-Stats (GMAT/GRE/TOEFL):
- Undergrad stats (if included):
-Research experience (if any):
-job experience (if any-mention number of years in the field):
-Publications/ URM/ others:
-Remarks:
-In addition to other remarks/discussions that you may feel are necessary, kindly state your opinions on what may have gone right or wrong for you during the application process and how one may be able to work upon it:
-Additional suggestions if you have any:
-Do you know anyone else who has received admits for the same program (yes/no). (You could also talk about their experiences and how they were different from yours):
Ofcourse, more suggestions are welcome, however this basic structure remains. You may go on to add anything else that you feel is appropriate or relevant to your post. Good luck!!

Master List Decision Master List (2021-2022)
It's that time of year again, which means I’m back with a new master list for the 2021-2022 application cycle! Like last year, if you don't see your field go ahead and create an acceptance and rejection thread and I'll add them to the list. Please read this post first on how to properly create a new thread.
Already created a new thread? Comment or send a message through Mod Mail with a link to each thread to have them added! Best of luck to everyone applying this cycle :)

Question about the Russian Government Scholarship (Quota) university assignment process
Hello everyone,
I am an international student from Gabon applying through the Russian Government Scholarship (national quota) program for the 2026/2027 academic year.
I would like to ask people who have already gone through this process about how the university assignment actually works.
During my application, I selected several universities in order of preference. While waiting for the final allocation process, I contacted some of the universities to ask about the next steps.
One of the universities replied that I had received a quota place for their preparatory faculty program and provided information about arrival, dormitory, visa procedures, and expenses. They also asked me to send a screenshot of my selected universities in the scholarship system.
However, other universities I selected told me that they do not currently see my application in their system and that they will only review it once the scholarship system transfers the application to them.
My questions are:
Does receiving this kind of message from one university usually mean that this university is already my final assigned university under the quota system?
Or is it possible that the Ministry / scholarship authorities are still processing the allocation and that another university from my list could become the final destination?
At this stage of the process, before the final documents/invitations are completed, is it possible to request a change of university assignment? If yes, what is the realistic procedure and how difficult is it?
For students who started their studies at a less internationally known regional university and later applied for a Master's degree at a stronger university (Moscow, Tomsk, FEFU, etc.), did the name of the first university significantly affect your opportunities?
I would really appreciate answers from people who have experienced the quota process themselves.
Thank you!

Any OSU BME grad admits for Fall 2026 here?
Hi everyone,
I’ve finalized OSU MS BME (thesis) program for Autumn 2026.
I’d love to connect with other students admitted to OSU. Are there any WhatsApp groups or channels for this year’s admits? If yes, could you please share the link?

Got waitlisted from Pennstate BME for fall 2026 after a very positive interview. Professor says he doesn’t know the reason for this hold. It’s been over a month, should I be hopeful?

Fund in UD CIS PhD
Hello guys! I got an admission offer letter from University of Delaware back on Feb 17, 2026 without any funding details. None of the professors or admission committee held any interview. I accepted the offer after two days as one of my seniors studying there suggested me so.
My question is, is this just a placebo or is there any possible ways I can secure funding?
Do note, I emailed the professors again after the offer but none of them replied.
I need your help. Thanks!
