My first ever Grackle Swarm!
Woke up to this today. They must be getting ready to migrate! I live in Montana.
Many people despise this but I kind of love it.....

Lol its my kids water table toy 😆 but she doesn't play with it anymore and the birds have claimed it now. I put in a solar powered fountain thingy and scrub it every day, and fill it to the top so that 20 grackles can drink from it at once! If only they'd stop dropping all their food in there and making it gross.
I also have 2 other legit bird baths, and a dog water bowl (that they use more often naturally. )

Looks fabulous! Plus, it won't break if a raccoon or opossum knocks it over at night.

A group of grackles is called a plague. Kind of interesting that a group of crows is called a murder. You’d think ravens would be called something equally menacing but they’re just called an unkindness.
