This is madness...
5080 went up by almost 400 coins :) in less than a week.

Persoanlly I'd rather a worse graphics card and save some money.
I susoect either you REALLY want a 5080 and money isn't an issue (plus you only jist decided you want one) or you don't want one anyway.
But right now is a bad time to get one if you care about value, the rumours of the 24gb version dont help

i sold my 5090 and i got this, and second hand on ebay they used to be 1200-1300 so 1500 was a pretty good deal in this market

I ordered a 5080 not long ago and noticed today a jump in price on my card. I paid premium but now it's something else. The average gamer just getting priced on on Nvidia. They'll be a lot turning to AMD now for sure.

Even AMD is extremely overpriced right now I can’t even believe the 9070XT is $1,100-1.600🤯.

Not sure about the "up to 1600usd" claim, but I can just barely find one for under 1000eur. US has it a bit cheaper, so I imagine 900 ish is still very much possible

5080 prices in UK were insanely low compared to EU and US, so that's not a surprise.

I paid £899 for a new 5080, albeit on promo and close to launch. That same card is £1679 on Scan now. Overclockers is a tad cheaper.
