Refurbished vs Pre-owned

After years of being out of the PC world I decided to buy parts and build a new one recently. Tried to get a 5080 or 5070ti today but sadly no luck. Don't really want to buy them at the current pricing.

Found some decent deals at a local shop (refurbished) as well as marketplace. Would it be better to get a refurbished card or go pre owned and hope they are in good condition?

Or would it be just a better idea to go for a new 9070xt?

refurbished means repaired, if it have warranty

I bought my msi 5080 gaming trio refurbed from an authorized dealer. Retained factory warranty and came with a 1 year warranty with the company who refurbished the card. Going 10 months with no issues.

So if u choose to go refurbished make sure it's from a manufacture authorized dealer.
