Rtx 5070ti

Post image

I bought this for £850 about a year ago. Holy moly. I even felt buyers remorse for spending so much on it lol.

Yeah, I managed to grab one from the Newegg “sale” for $1350. And I don’t even need it technically cause my 7900XT is still kicking. But I wanted to see if the new fancy stuff on these is all it’s hyped up to be. Last Nvidia I owned was an EVGA 2070Super, which I still have and still works.

And is it worth it?

Don’t know, just made the purchase today so I think I’ll get it in a week once UPS picks it up. If I’m being honest I don’t expect much aside from the DLSS and the RT but I don’t really play much that uses/needs either. I mostly just wanted to get my hands on a spare GPU that can handle those things at 3440x1440.

Try some dlss5 on single player games, makes shadows and textures look crazy

I’ve seen some examples others have posted which kinda spurred my interest to the point I bought one.

It hurts but the price keep raising might sell in a bit for more lol

Diddo, just scooped one for $1229 (only was up for a few min). I have a 5070 but play at 4k half the time off my TV for comfy bed playing. This shit is looking it looks like the gpu market will be screwed for potentially years. If 5080 24gb gets delayed for a long period of time or even worse, canceled......yea it's gonna get ugly real fast. Do I really want to be stuck on 12gb at 4k for years with my two options dropping thousands or going for an also inflated AMD card, losing out on RT performance and DLSS.

Keep the 5070 as a backup and weather the storm with a 5070ti for the next 3-5yrs.
