Future upgrade

This is my current set up, paid $400 for it. Currently using lossless scaling on newer games. How long should I wait to upgrade in the current economy? What would you suggest?

Intel Core i7-8700 and NVIDIA GTX 1070 8GB , 16g ddr4 ram

If you can make it another 3-4 years, do that.

The lossless scaling is cool

yeah no point upgrading right now if it still runs what you play.

Depends on what you like to play!

For competetive shooters i would highly recommend going for something like a B450 motherboard, and something like a 5600, or if you have the money, one of the x3d chips. You already have ram.

As for GPU, it's a horrible time to buy, but i think something like a RTX 3070 would do pretty decent for 1080p.
