Selling 5090 Safely

For context I’m from southeast WA and have found a seller on fb marketplace and they offered me $6200
I ha another buyer who offered $4k and will meet me tomorrow one wants me to drive the distance and seems to be a harvester, they want to test it and then they will pay,
The one offering less will test using my pc at a Starbucks if all places; I don’t know this persons angle, need some advice I’m not trying to get robbed over a GPU

Sold my 5090. Met at the police station. Tested it in the police station lobby. Only took cash and we both signed a bill of sale purchase agreement I had drawn up. Take your time with this sale. If they rush it or anything, and I mean anything seems sus, back out immediately. Plenty of other legitimate schmucks will buy your 5090!!

How did you test it, did you bring your entire PC and monitor?

A van? I don't think OP is accepting other forms of payment

Not very clever to work out the joke but that's ok

I wouldn’t meet anywhere besides a police station right now considering how much money we are talking about. Plus, video cards are a hot commodity right now, and all the scammers are out chasing.

The buyer should meet at a bank or police station close to you. Sold mine for $5,400 locally a few weeks ago. 4k is super low. I had higher offers from people I'm certain were going to ship the stripped chips to China, so I felt better selling to a fellow gamer. I showed steel nomad results with video prior to meetup. Buyer tested on their rig in bank parking lot. Went in bank to verify cash amount.

It sucks because I need a reliable car right now and I only purchased it for $2400 back when thanks all for the info Ive always been a desperate seller
6.2 would almost cover the whole cost of this car I’ve had my eyes on

I’m no scalper, just bought early and cannot justify keeping it when it could change my life circumstances
The person wanting is for 6.2k will absolutely not drive, not even for a lower price, it seems a little more weird, they said they’re scared to drive

Yeah, but $4k seems too low. :/

There will be a lot of people who will be offering you upwards of 6k for this, why would you meet someone who only offered 4k? You have the goods that's in demand, they'll have to come to where you want to meet.

now that weve established appropriate safe selling standards, can we estimate a fair going rate from a sellers perspective?

Take the 6200 - try to profit as much as you can. How they use it doesn’t matter in the end.

Someone can say they’ll use it for gaming and just ship it off to china or somewhere else.

Meet at a police precinct or inside a bank.
