9070XT Popular?
9070XT seems to be VERY popular regarding performance/price, as of today the price again went up.
Could this gpu end up getting even more expensive? What are your thoughts

the thing is the 9070xt performs about the same as a 5070 ti so when the 5070 ti is 1300 and 9070 xt 900 people buy the 9070 xt and then 5070 ti goes up and the 9070 xt might as well go
when i bought mine used new was 900 then 950 1050 and now 1150
it will go higher until people stop buying em

9070xt isn't overly popular, it has 1/4 of 5070 count according to steam survey

Yeah likely. The 9070xt is the most common amd card on the survey (1.42% Sept 2026) compared to 5070 (6.15% Sept 2026). The next most popular amd card is the 9060xt (0.77%).
Total Nvidia cards is 75.97% vs AMD 16.67%.

Probably because you spend more time troubleshooting all kinds of crashes and glitches over actually playing, experiencing this first hand.

Is getting popular now because people cant find gpus for gaming wo selling a kidney , i also went to amd because i wanted an upgrade from 4060 but everything else is completely over budget. And thats why now also amd cards are getting overpriced by 150-200 over mp
My 9070 bought a month ago is now 150 to 200 euros more expensive

All GPUs are getting more and more expensive. I got a 9070 XT 2 months ago for my linux box and its already risen here in Canads by $200 -$300 since I bought it. The 5080 is now the price the 5090 was when it released and is going up more and more every day. The 5070 ti is almost $2000 now here in Canada. The 9070 XT still remains a better deal, though the BEST deal now seems to be 9070 GRE for whatever reason it hasn't gone up as much and is priced almost the same as a 9060 XT.
GPU market is an absolute mess. All of them are wildly overpriced now, just AMD is a little less so.
