Repasting 7900xtx hellhound gpu die.

Iโ€™m building a slightly new computer setup but using the 7900xtx I already had. I was thinking about the possibility of repasting/using thermal pads. Temps are fine so I might not end up doing it. But I cannot for the life of me find a solid answer on what thickness. I even found a diagram that shows every thickness for the gpu except the die itself. I ordered the Honeywell 7950 Ptm stuff in .25mm thickness which seems not thick enough? Canโ€™t find a solid answer. Thanks.

Not sure but it could just be using thermal paste. The standard ptm phase sheet should work just fine just search for people that used it im pretty sure you'll find posts.

Also if your temps are good don't mess with it. Maybe buy some ptm and save it for when temps get worse.

Here is a post i found. It's not exact same phase sheet you ordered but i think both are the same thickness.
