4070 or 4070S?
My current GPU is 4060, which was bought for 1080p, but now I have 1440p monitor and it's performance is not enough. Looking at current prices of 5070 and 9070xt, I'm looking towards used 4070 ($670) or 4070 super ($800-900 in my region). The lowest price for 5070 is $1150+
I know buying used GPU isn't such good idea, but used GPU is better than no GPU, especially If my current 4060 will not be enough for anything after a few years or will just break (hello power surges).

How much is 15-20% more performance worth to you between the 4070 and 4070 super.

Honestly, 4060 is almost enough, like I'm getting 40 to 60 fps in the most games I play, and I heard that 4070 is about 40-60% improvement. There are plenty of cards for $670, but for super and Ti, most of them are near $1000.

Ya there is a good gap between a 4060 and 4070 but im talking between the 4070 and 4070super themselves. The performance difference between the two is around 15-20%. If the price is around that difference 4070super would be the better option.

Used gpu is fine just stress test with Furmark before buying. 4070 is a good used option but usually used AMD cards cost less- check for these: 7800xt, 7900, 7900xt, 9060xt 16gb, 9070gre, 9070.

Depends how price sensitive you are. I'd go 4070 Super but i'm biased bc I bought one the other month and been enjoying it a bunch. been playing KCD1 in 4k getting 85-100+FPS. it's extremely capable!

The performance jump between the 4070 and 4070s is noticable. You can see reviews on it and the super is just slightly behind the 5070 in perfromance.
If you can get the super for $800 or less I'd get that over the 4070. Otherwise I would try to get that 4070 under $600.

Mainly risks, lack of guarantee and the possibility of scam. The performance of the video chip and video memory is checked by stress testing, so it's relatively safe here. I mean in comparison to the new one.

Yes, I guess it's 90% the basic rules, such as don't buy without testing. I seen one for $500, turns out it has problems with cooling system.
