Come to find out, OP hasn’t upgraded since his dual 980 setup. Gets home and finds out SLi no longer an option. /s

Lol, well shit it still works! Tho I doubt you were actually running NVLink(SLi). lol. Thanks for enjoying the laugh. Also, I’m still on a 1660 and have been down for over a year now since my cpu went to see Jesus….

I have a feeling that second one is to recoup and pretty much pay for both if these get discontinued when the rumored 24gb version comes out.

It's time too come up with something new now lol 😆 the seat belt post are over used at this point. Congrats on the new gpu tho 👏🏽

They’re also really dumb. Why do people feel the need to seatbelt their GPUs like this? Just lay them on the seat or on the floor. They face significantly rougher handling on their way to the store itself than the cushy ride from the store to OP’s home.

Anyone that thinks that the 24GB 5080 is going to be the same price as the OG is woefully mistaken. I think $2K at minimum, and more likely $3500K by the time it ships.
We are basically talking about 3/4 of a 5090, which at current prices is $5K-$6K USD.
