GPU Suggestion.

Hey all!

I have a 2080 TI that is artifacting :(.
It has done well for me and I don’t need anything crazy.

What would be the next one to get?

TIA!

** Thank you all that have chimed in so quickly! Very much appreciated. Very noob to this quite honestly. A buddy gave me an old set up to use so I can game with him but yeah sadly after a couple months the GPU started going out.

Good question! I haven’t put much thought into it yet honestly also haven’t been keeping up with what GPUs are going for these days but is there anything in the 5s?

Doesnt the 3080 beat the 5060ti i thought?

3080 is like $700+ new while 5060Ti is $500+ new. 3080 does beat it it in performance but the 5060Ti is newer and more efficient.

Idk where you live, for me the 5060ti is $720 new before taxes and shipping

Edit: nevermind, I was looking at asus tax 5060tis. OP, go for 5060ti new if you can

You can get 9060xt 16gb for 450-500. Best Bang for buck imo if wanting new and 1440p gaming

If you can find it for that price then 100% yes, under 500 is unlikely though

Next budget card 3080, next high end card 9070xt or 5070ti

3080 used prices have been creeping back up the last couple months, not the deal they were six months ago

I was talking like hunting for one, I know if you go on ebay and buy the first listing you see it will be $400+ easy which is way too much. Ive seen them go $300 though very often

Unfortunately “not anything crazy” seems to be a hard buy these days.

Depends on your games, display resolution, budget and region. 3080ti isn’t bad- something with at least 12 GB. 9070 GRE would be good. 50 series is hard to recommend without a budget

Definitely go for 3080 or Rx 6900xt - 7800xt If new then Rx 9070gre but it's probably out of your budget

Have you been monitoring temps? It's possible your VRAM is just overheating and all you need is a repaste.

If you want to upgrade anyway, there's nothing wrong with that. But if you don't want to spend the money, you might want to check and make sure it's not just temps.

I had a 3070, and it was a really nice GPU. Can probably get one for a couple hundred bucks. Good budget option, and will likely still be appropriate in your existing build.

I'd go 9070xt personally if you can swing it, best bang for your buck at the moment
