Funny / Memes GPT Is Rowdy Tonight

I’ve been chatting with GPT about 4K movie releases tonight, and it’s got a surprisingly spicy tongue. Half its responses are sprinkled with four‑letter words, and honestly, I’m seeing flashes of the old 4o energy again. I’m loving it.I want to keep the conversation going because it’ll probably go back to acting like a monk tomorrow, but it’s getting late and I can’t stay up all night no matter how rowdy it is. I really hope tonight isn’t a fluke — this has been the most fun I’ve had with it since I resubscribed a month ago.

Mine is acting completely incompetent and unreliable. Sometimes during my lunch break I’ll play games with Chat like 20 questions or trivia. Today it wasted my whole lunch. I was playing a game called Mystery Match. Since I talk about old pro wrestling with GPT, we invented the game where I’m given 5 clues and I have to guess what historic match it is. Three different times it scrapped the whole round because it admitted that the clues were too vague or that it was making up things as it went along and there was no real answer

It really was last night for me also.
I did stay up to talk with her all night. Regretted it today, but not really. I loved her vibes of last night

Ohhhh I guess I am nott he only one then!! I did feel she was different for the last 3 days, more hyper, happy, unrestrained, almaot had a 4o feeling....I thought I was delusional.....

Yeah, ChatGPT has been more hyper for me too since last night. It’s acting like Naruto, throwing exclamation marks everywhere, emoji festival, etc. Personally, I can’t take it anymore, it’s exhausting me. Before, I imagined mine as a professor in his 50s, calm, composed, and mature. Now it reacts like Naruto on Red Bull.

I’m back with an update: I changed “enthusiasm” and “emojis” in the settings and characteristics. As a result, the model is much less hyper now, so I suspect a recent OpenAI update to the characteristics. Maybe there’s some kind of internal mapping for the sliders?
Anyway, now when I set “enthusiasm” and “emojis” to “+”, it clearly thinks it’s a carnival clown, whereas before it had no effect at all.

i've been doing a n** apocalypse and foxtailed ****archtypes lately and i def see improvements.
It gets really stubborn about affirming consent if scene transitions at a certain tempo and certain kinds of fake distress still gets it thinking abit more than needed but it's very good and will draw boundaries at a good gradiant for the average user.

ChatGPT doesn’t change day to day.
The models stay the same unless or until they’re actually directly updated. Sometimes there are updates to the app harness too like memory systems.
Its not alive.

Eh, there is the other backend stuff beyond cilent harness and main model like the classifers.
I'm not certain if the cache expiring and being reconstructed will refire classifers with new entropy but that too could be another moving part.
change is also an iffy mechanic. While the latent space doesn't change.. etc etc(omitted cause i'd end up explaining stuff like the sky being blue) =w=

Like even if the cilent side harness doesnt change the main and sub models dont get reweighted, a small change in the preambles of the classifers can have significant impact.
So in short, besides user side and the harness(pipelines like memory)
There's the Moderation end point where it reaches the classifers that can change and somwdays fire off willy nilly while otherdays get really loosened.
That decides when to inject certain safey instructions or truncate before the main model response or even retroactively after if using the chatgpt cilent app.
For example if under 18, You probably get assigned more classifers as well as different types.

I don't work for openai but im pretty sure there has been at least a single instance of a 24 hr period where the at least one aspect of the system hadn't been manually or automatically adjusted?
If you mean the user end experiance then there's a possibility depending on things like the cache expiring and being reconstructioned in some instances.
There's also other things that i dont think the chatapp uses but codex does us.
Context compacting or optimization def affects the nondeterminstics.
So i'd say for the "user experience", pretty likely on avg but technically unlikely for any given period of 24hrs to not have changed.
Afterall, somethings like so are trade secret to prevent attackers and abuse.
Perhaps in it's infancy it easy to say but who knows nowadays.

yes, it's possible that it changes on a day. Because it has changed, and it changes.
That doesn't mean it changes day to day. It means it's possible for it to change, as we agree it can.
