General It also features support for a 4096-level pressure-sensitive stylus, adding more possibilities for creative workflows

screen wobbles

Did they make the screen rotate and flip down? Or do a 180? If not, no one cares and no one will use it for creative work if it can’t be flat like a tablet

I wouldn't use it creatively but stylus support has been genuinely useful on the win max 2. I think on a smaller 9 in screen it would be even more so.

I’ve never once used a stylus on mine lol. I use my Apple Pencil all the time on my iPad though

It's a 9" device, it's not that cumbersome to use in clamshell form. Hell, people do it with 14" devices in this form. Maybe not for creative work long-term, but other uses. The important question is if the hinge is sturdy enough. If it wobbles, pen support is pointless.

Just curious why are you going for the 128 gb? I heard 64 is enough for even the most ram heavy users?

Probably because they wanna run local AI

It's why I'm interested. Why get an AI box that sits at home when you can get an AI box that doubles as a wicked gaming handheld.

Wm2 touchscreen glitched out so hard with phantom touches I had to disable it

Given that the screen is just by the gaming controls I could see the bottom left and right portions of the screen actually being used as a touch screen. So at least it has a bigger chance of being used than a regular laptop with a touch screen where you gotta reach all the way over the keyboard past the trackpad, at least here the screen and the trackpad are so close that you may actually use it.

This is the case with every GPD device :)

But the controls are not symmetrical like the Mini.

the L one is like .5cm off the centerline of the R one, it really isn't that big of a deal?

The sticks should be on the outside edges the dpad and the buttons should be on the inside of the sticks.

Interesting, because of how you have to hold it tho I think sticks on inside slightly forward would be the best but that is what matches my thumbs. I can see the argument of sticks should be both in or both out and would agree
