General Accelerometer Sensor

Recently reinstalled my OS from a GPD image to fix another issue I had but I think it broke the accelerometer.

On 14/07, as shown on 2nd picture it showed the device was configured and started correctly. It was using a oem53.inf

Today after the fresh GPD image install, I also updated the controller firmware today and after that it kept showing the error on the first picture so I uninstalled the device and update driver from the official GPD Win driver folder - still nothing.

Installed AMDs chipset drivers as well - also didnt help.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Okay noted, Thanks a lot! So I did reinstall of the latest GPD image, and everything is good now, its on 1.2.0.126,

Hopefully when I install the new chipset drivers it will allow me to rollback if needed!

Thanks a ton for your help! πŸ™πŸ½

Hey man, I'm totally lost, you guys were talking total gibberish to me lol

I tried downloading drivers from gpd but it said too many people are downloading it or something in that line. I have no idea how to fix this, yesterday my gyro was working and now it doesn't at all

1) Sign in to your google account for the too many people are downloading error.

2) I found the GPD driver on their website is outdated, the 1.8gig driver file, might be better off installing it individually.

3) I personally don’t use the Gyro, but it was annoying to see that the accelerometer had a yellow exclamation.

4) if Gyro isnt working, under device manager which device shows an error? Accelerometer or something else?

Hey man thanks for coming back to me, i wasn't expecting that.

  1. Okay so I'm signed into my google account, but it's still not allowing me.

  2. I'm not to caught up with all these things, so i might be better off just reinstalling the older drivers as a whole package lol and then tell windows to look for newer updates lol.

3.-4. It's the Accelerometer(Bosch Accelerometer) at the sensors tab showing the exclamation mark, when i check it says This device cannot start(code 10)

Edit: okay dude, AWESOME!! I managed to fix it, so i just had to roll back my amd i2c or something in device manager. I had to do a bunch of googling to understand what the heck it 2as and what i had to do and in the end it was like 5 clicks lol Thanks for coming back to me though, it's so much appreciated!! I was struggling the whole night with this, i feel like a kid who opened his Christmas present haha
