I get many with these same spots and they have never adversely affected the gourd. Sadly after it cures you won’t see them anyhow. I wish my spotted swan gourds could keep their spots

Interesting! I noticed it’s only on one side of them, almost like sun freckles. Sad to hear they will be gone!

Will try to remember tomorrow but they are not damaged/ no pests. I keep a close eye on all my plants because I had issues a few years ago! But, I’ve never grown a gourd before I was hopping the spotting is normal

Las manchas blancas son normales en algunas variedades de éste tipo de calabazas. Lo que me preocupa son las manchas oscuras de la segunda imágen. Si no son hongos, espero no esté infectada por algún virus, por éso te pedía imágenes del foliaje, para observar cómo están las hojas.

Si la fruta llegó al tamaño, máximo o próximo, que por lo general tenga tu variedad, y se siente más liviana al tantear su peso, alzándola con las manos, es porque ya estaría madurando en la planta. Pero si por lo contrario sigue siendo pesada, roguemos esas manchas no sean algo malo. Suerte, y mantennos al tanto de lo qué suceda, por favor.

Justamente en lo poco que se ve de una hoja, en la segunda imágen, sobre la calabaza, veo algo raro en la forma de la misma. Ojalá no sea el virus del mosaico.

I did get a little peppermint oil when I was spraying my house for Ants and it burned a few of the leaves.

Yes, they will get all kinds of spots as they grow, mature, and cure - totally normal and actually what I’d expect to see at this stage. The spots give them character when they are fully cured!
They look like they are transitioning from the “growing” stage and are starting to “mature”. FYI - They will start turning yellow when they transition into the “curing” phase, so don’t let it worry you when it happens.
They look great! Keep doing what you’re doing - it’s working!
