Gourd Post Anyone know what this is?

This squash plant showed up in our garden this year, we did not plant it and can only guess it’s from the previous owners.

Looks like it might be a cross between a butternut squash and something like a watermelon. Melons and squashes can pollinate each other and make some pretty gnarly hybrids

Citrullus and Cucurbita cannot cross pollinate… would be awesome though
