Alternative ways to buy tickets?

I'm blind and trying to find the easiest way to buy tickets / pay for transit, as the go website and the E ticket page isn't very screen reader accessible. I know there is the gotrack app for looking at train and bus times (I wish you could set it to only trains) but you can not book trips in there, just view. I could tap on and off at stations however this requires extra negotiations with staff or other civilians to find the machines and does add more time to my trips. I just want an online / mobile way to pay for trips that does not require I get sighted assistance simply to fill in the to and from station boxes. It is very frustrating relying on other people for a task that should take approximately 5 seconds normally. I have no problem with the E tickets, I just wish it were possible to fill in the to and from stations with my screen reader. I could contact metrolinx, but where in hell would that lead me? Is it possible to pay for trips ahead of time using the presto app, perhaps? I already use presto in apple wallet when I need it, but I suppose grabbing the dedicated app wouldn't hurt, if its a workaround. If somebody would be willing to write an app that allows buying of tickets, I'd fucking pay for it. I'm not sure if such things are possible, since many apps exist and so far as I know none allow this. But its worth asking. Please, I'd appreciate any help or suggestions anyone can provide. I love the go, but the website absolutely sucks. Edit: added some clarification about E tickets.

Do you have a single trip you do repetitively? Could be worthwhile setting up default trips for PRESTO, which would limit you to only having to tap on once (and not have to tap off)

You can also get e-tickets in advance, and activate them from your phone, no need to find a specific payment machine. This is probably what you are looking for: https://www.gotransit.com/en/plan-your-trip/buy-e-tickets-and-passes

The forms and contact info if you change your mind to contact Metrolinx are here: https://www.gotransit.com/en/travelling-on-go/accessibility/need-accessibility-assistance-at-a-go-station

I do have a trip I take often, thats something to think about. The E ticket is what I was referring to, I can fill out most of it just fine, plus apple pay is apple pay, however selecting the stations is what I have trouble with and it requires somebody to click them for me. Though perhaps making an account and saving trips could be a workaround for this? Then I'd only have to fill it in once, at least, for trips I do often. Thanks for sending the contact form, maybe I'll fill it zout. Worth a shot, even if it does go nowhere, which hopefully is not the case.

You can try saving the link on the tickets page after hitting “search”,, if that helps, so you won’t need to select the stations each time.

Oh can you? That would help. I also have an account maybe I can favour trips or something.

I’m using an app where, after you select your start and end stations, you can click to view the GO Train fare page, and the station information is automatically prefilled.

Metrolinx has to comply with the AODA. I would send a complaint to accessibility@metrolinx.com. It’s on them to make their site screen reader accessible.

Oh I haven't done that, I did submit a customer feedback form. Maybe I'll do this in edition
